Wine Glass Storage

Not everyone has a lot of money to spend on wine glass storage. If you happen to be one of them you are in luck because you can find some very nice wine glass storage holders that are very affordable.   They aren’t just the cheap looking plastic models that you can get at a discount store either.  For around fifteen dollars you can find a small wooden wine glass rack that fits nicely under a kitchen cabinet.  They are about ten inches by fifteen and half inches by eighteen inches, so they are perfect for about six wine glasses.

If you are handy with your hands and have some tools you could also purchase some inexpensive wooden dowels and one by two strips of wood and make your own wine glass storage holder.  Drill several holes in the one by two’s after they have been cut to fit your space so that you can attach it to your wall or cabinet.  You will also need to drill several more holes to a 3/8 inch depth for your dowels that will make up the hanging portion for your wine glasses.  You can choose the color finish for your inexpensive wine glass storage rack so that it matches or contrasts your décor.

Many of the wine glass storage racks that you can find on the market for a smaller price also have room for you to store a couple bottles of wine.  If you don’t want to place your wine glass storage under a cabinet you could find an inexpensive one that is mounted on the wall.  This type could hold four to six wine glasses as well.  If you have a jig saw you could even design and make this type of wine shelf.  The cost would be minimal and you can have the pleasure of bragging rights when your friends see it.
